02. Mostar
「モスタル」とは“橋守り”という意味。
でも守りきる事はできませんでした。歴史あるこの橋も90年代の戦争で破壊されました（2００４年に再建）。
当時はこの川をはさんで戦闘が繰り広げられていたそうです。向こう側がクロアチア、こっちはボスニアのムスリム側。
今でも廃墟が多く残るこの町同様、ボスニアの人々の心の中の傷は癒えていない。
"Mostar" means "Bridge keeper".
But they couldn't keep this bridge. It was destroyed by the war in 90's.
Opposite side was Croatian side, this side was Musrim side. Still it's not changed.
Still many destroyed house remain in this town. Same like this, still many pains remain in local people's heart.
